Well, I decided to participate in the Lost Kids cover contest because the guys at LK are doing some pretty awesome work. I really admire that. Plus, there is an all-star judge panel, and some of those guys are my heroes ;)

Anyway, with my schedule I only had time to do one character and I chose JJ. I wanted to do a different outfit for her and I wanted the setting to be in the desert. So I painted this sexy, tough, dangerous girl on some kind of desert expedition scenario.

This was painted in PS CS3.

I love the hair, the shading and the colors, but I think the eye in the front is a little too big.

Thank you very much! Yeah, that was on purpose. Wanted to have one eyebrow raised as if turning and looking this way. Probably didn't work out too well since you're not the first to mention it.
